Yup, this is what Tartary is all about. What’s on the screen and also what’s behind it – the making of the program.
The first 2 segments seem totally AmTart to me. The third part (about 18:00 in) is exactly Toxic Tartary, but with star-level and underground mecha leagues.

His use of “real” troubles me. “The economy here is based on the garbage of the real Mumbai.”

yeah Richard G the real usage in this context is problematic, but I think it’s less intentional and moreso poor word choice. (or subconscious truths slipping out, who knows…)
