Barry Blatt 20 years ago I thought Steve Bell’s combination of viciousness and sophistication was a real breath of fresh air in political cartooning. Then somehow he lost the sophistication and I thought his time was past. But now it seems the political world has caught up with him!
Yep the politics has become as crude as he is, especially where Trump is concerned. There is too much on the US Republican asshattery in the UK press, but there is a horrible fascination of watching a car crash in progress and the swine trying to convince us that maybe our pig-head shagging posh twits in the Common aren’t so bad after all. All just a ploy to make us thankful they are only dragging us rightwards to the position of that walking goitre Rand Paul and not going us over the edge into a full screaming Trump.

Yep the politics has become as crude as he is, especially where Trump is concerned.
