Now you’re truncating the feed on iphone so I can’t actually read what people have posted any more if it was more than 5 minutes ago?
Why? Why do this slow death by a thousand cuts? If you want to kill the service, why not just kill it? Is this some kind of psychological experiment?

That’s happened to me on more than one occasion, and usually works a few minutes later. I assumed it was a bug, but you’re saying… it’s a feature?!

my hypothesis is that they are mining complaint data. I don’t think anyone else controls a large enough population of “haters” to allow for bankable inferences, and they already mine search data to find what people like so it would be both very cynical and clever, and kind of natural.

Jeff Call actually it looks like it might just be poor bandwidth/server communication – later I got a longer stream again. But it always ends the stream with suggestions for more people to follow (ie not receive posts from) so it maybe looks more intentional than it is.
